A combined requirement can use more than one role.
Does every security task require an SIA licence?
No. Licensing depends on the activity, contractual arrangement and setting. Where work is licensable, the operative must hold the correct licence.
Can security services be combined?
Yes. An event may, for example, use door supervisors, non-licensable stewards, close protection for a guest and secure transport. Each duty should remain clearly defined.
