Privacy Policy of Spetsnaz Limited

This policy explains how Spetsnaz Limited handles personal information connected with this website and enquiries made to the business.

Who is responsible for your information

Spetsnaz Limited operates this website and is responsible for personal information it handles for the purposes described here. The company is registered in England and Wales under number 08495721. Privacy questions can be sent to info@spetsnazsecurity.co.uk.

Information we may receive

Depending on how you contact or engage with us, this may include:

  • your name and contact details, such as an email address and telephone number;
  • the contents of a website form, email, telephone enquiry or other communication, including information you choose to provide about a security requirement;
  • correspondence and records needed to respond to an enquiry or discuss a possible service;
  • information needed to meet legal, regulatory, safeguarding or security obligations where relevant; and
  • limited technical and usage information that hosting, security or analytics systems may generate, such as an IP address, time, requested page, browser or device information, error details and security-event logs. Optional Google Analytics operates only if you accept analytics.

Website features and form submissions

The website has no user accounts, online checkout or payment facility. It does not use an onsite customer database.

When you submit the contact form, the website sends your name, telephone number, email address and message to Brevo for transactional email delivery. Copies are addressed to info@spetsnazsecurity.co.uk and to Web Aloha at yes@webaloha.co so the enquiry can be received and website delivery issues can be supported. The form does not add you to a marketing list.

The recruitment form is disabled and cannot accept or store details or CV files. If you follow a recruitment link to LinkedIn, that external service applies its own privacy terms.

Why we use personal information

We use relevant information only where there is an appropriate reason, which may include:

  • responding to an enquiry and taking steps requested before a possible contract;
  • planning, administering or delivering an agreed service under a contract;
  • pursuing legitimate interests in communicating with clients and prospective clients, managing the business, keeping proportionate records, preventing misuse and protecting the website and systems;
  • meeting legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, insurance, safeguarding or law-enforcement obligations where they apply; and
  • using consent where a particular activity requires it. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it for future use.

The basis that applies depends on the information and context. Legitimate interests are used only where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

Who may receive information

Access is limited to people who need the information for the relevant purpose. Website enquiries are delivered to Spetsnaz Limited and Web Aloha through Brevo. We may also use service providers that support website hosting, security, communications or business administration; professional advisers and insurers; and public authorities or regulators where disclosure is required or reasonably necessary.

We do not describe personal information as being sold. If a proposed service requires information to be shared with another organisation, the relevant arrangements should be explained as part of that engagement.

International transfers

Some technology or communications providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where we use a provider that makes such a transfer, an appropriate UK transfer mechanism should be used where required, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. You may ask us about the safeguards relevant to your information.

How long information is kept

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, managing an engagement, resolving disputes and meeting legal, regulatory, insurance, tax or accounting requirements.

Retention periods vary with the nature and sensitivity of the information and the reason it is held. Routine enquiries that do not proceed are not intended to be kept indefinitely. Technical logs are normally kept in line with proportionate operational and security needs and the settings of the relevant provider.

Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the information and the way it is handled. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in an initial enquiry.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics 4 is disabled unless you choose “Accept analytics”. If accepted, Google Analytics can process website usage and technical information to help us understand visits and improve the site. You can reject analytics initially or change your choice later through Cookie settings in the footer. Our Cookies Policy explains the controls and technologies used, and the Google Privacy Policy explains Google’s handling practices.

Your UK data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, or an objection to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. These rights are not absolute, and an exemption or another lawful reason may apply.

To make a request, email info@spetsnazsecurity.co.uk. We may need enough information to confirm your identity and understand the request.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern so that we can try to address it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Information about raising a concern is available on the ICO website.

External websites and social media

Links to social-media profiles and other external websites take you away from this site. Those providers decide how they process information on their services, and their own privacy notices apply.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy if the website, our handling practices or applicable requirements change. The date above shows when this version was last reviewed. Questions or requests can be emailed to info@spetsnazsecurity.co.uk.
